About Miven CNC Machineries Pvt LTD

The company was floated on 19th July 1985 in the name of “KIRLOSKAR WARNER SWASEY LTD”. The Mysore Kirloskar Ltd. (MKL) promoted this company in technical and financial collaboration with The Warner & Swasey Company, USA (W&S). Each promoter company held 38% shares in the paid up capital of the company. The collaboration agreement provided for manufacture of varieties of Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) turning machines, viz., The Chucking Lathes and the Universal Lathes. During September 1998, Warner & Swasey acquired the 38% shares held by MKL, Co-Promoter Company and its total holding increased to 76%.
During July 1999, the shares held by Warner & Swasey was transferred to Fadal Engineering Co. Inc., U.S.A., a subsidiary of Giddings & Lewis LLC and the name of the company was changed to “GIDDINGS & LEWIS INDIA LTD.”
Later, N A Sirur (Hubli) Pvt. Ltd., a holding company promoted by the Sirur family of Hubli is the present promoter of this company, now renamed “MIVEN MACHINE TOOLS LIMITED” after the take over in the year 2002.
Being public limited company, in Feb 2024, promoters have sold their shares along with the name keeping technology and knowhow product, and then new company formed as “Miven CNC Machineries Pvt Ltd”.

Mr. Vikram Sirur

Mr. Vikram Sirur is Executive Chairman. He is B E (Chem), M I E. He has vast knowledge in the field of machine tools. He has about 41 years of experience in the machine tool industry. He also holds the position of “Ex-President” of Indian Machine Tools Manufacturers Association.

Promoters & Management

Mr.Vikram Sirur and Mrs Alka Sirur, a holding company are the present promoter of this company, now renamed “MIVEN CNC MACHINERIES PVT LTD” after the take over in the year 2024. Miven has several group companies running under it’s management and which are managed by well qualified and experienced members of the Sirur Family, with international education and business experience.

Miven is pioneer in the areas of manufacturing of Industrial equipments, Chip Conveyors, coolant filtration systems, Disposable systems, investments, software & trading.
